At Millesgården, there always seems to be more air and space than anywhere else. It's a wonderful place for fresh thinking. Millesgården is for everyone - a unique place needed now more than ever. It’s a place to enjoy art, good food, and meaningful experiences. A place for beauty, but also for reflection. Here you’ll find ancient sculptures from 2,000 years ago side by side with contemporary art. This meeting point between the old and the new invites contemplation of art’s eternal questions. The themes remain the same; only time separates them. Ars longa, vita brevis (Art is long, life is short) - this is Millesgården’s foundation.
Millesgården is an independent, non-profit art institution whose ongoing operations are funded through its own revenue streams - such as admission fees and sculpture sales - as well as contributions from the government and local municipality. The Carl and Olga Milles Lidingöhem Foundation is tasked with preserving, presenting, and maintaining Millesgården and its collections. To fulfill this mission in the best possible way and to bring the site to life through temporary exhibitions, philanthropic donations and support from companies, foundations, and individuals are essential. Sponsors are offered the use of beautiful venues in a one-of-a-kind setting for client and employee events - ranging from corporate gatherings in the sculpture park to dinners in the more than 100-year-old Artist’s Home. This privilege is exclusive to our partners.
The museum also provides its partners with tickets, invitations to preview events, and exposure to an engaged audience.
